Where in the world, are You God, Where in the world, are You now

the situation's pretty dark down here

Where in the world, are You God, Where in the world, are You now

We listen for Your voice, but it's not clear

I am here, alive and well, in the faces of those who offer help

I'm in the hearts of those who sacrifice, and give themselves to save another's life

but you can't stop the world I've set in motion

can't stop the rain, can't stop the ocean

Where in the world, are You God, Where in the world, are You now

so many people here, who need Your help

I have heard your cries today, I've summoned help and it's on the way

Yes, I am where I have always been, one prayer away, you say when

but you can't stop the world I've set in motion

you can't stop the waves, you can't stop the ocean

at times like this it's ok to cry

to question Me and ask Me why

but the answer's been the same throughout the years

You live in a world of dark and light

of good and evil, wrong and right

and yet I promise you my children, that there is a heaven

but heaven isn't here

Where in the world, are You God
