for all you tech-heads (like me...)
Over the years, my studio has
evolved from a large, unwieldy morass of gear and cables, into the small,
streamlined set up you see here in these photos. Music & recording technology
has evolved to the point where a small set up in a corner can do what an
entire roomful of equipment used to do - and with pristine, major label sound quality to boot!
In January 2003, I completely tore down, redesigned and rewired my studio. Out
were all my old 25 foot guitar cables and in were brand new, excellent quality
cables in short lengths to reduce noise. Great care was taken to insure that all
the electrical wires were separated from audio cables, eliminating the dreaded
60 cycle AC hum.
